Welcome to Holy Trinity Cuckfield!
We are a community of living faith bound together by our love of Jesus Christ, and our desire is to make his love known to those we meet, both within our village and beyond. Ours is a community marked by good humour, sympathetic understanding, and open hospitality.
Our parish covers the beautiful Sussex village of Cuckfield, and the smaller communities of Ansty and Staplefield, all of which are served by Holy Trinity, Cuckfield, an ancient building with stunning views towards the South Downs. A church is believed to have existed in Cuckfield for over a thousand years, and our beautiful church stands as a sign and constant reminder, to all who see and visit it, that God's love is constant and abiding.
At the heart of our parish life is worship, and we enjoy a strong musical heritage. Our services follow a wide variety of styles both formal and informal. Our main Parish Eucharist each Sunday at 9.45am follows the modern-language Common Worship texts and is supported by our superb organ and robed choir. We also have informal family services (1st Sunday of every month), as well as quieter daily communion or prayer services, a monthly Little Ones' Service, and choral celebrations to mark most feast-days in the year.
We have a flourishing weekly round of activities and small groups, and our vision is of a community where village and church are one. Following a major re-ordering project in 2012, our church hosts regular concerts and other public events, most famously our annual Christmas Tree Festival.
Next to the church is the Old School, which is in constant use for a range of community activities, and where a range of rooms can be booked for private functions.
Our latest news, service times, and full details of all aspects of church life can be found at our parish web site www.holytrinitycuckfield.org. Please do explore our website and, better still, know that if you visit us you will receive a warm welcome at Holy Trinity, at any of our services or events.
